Marble from Carrara
The dial is entirely handmade out of Carrara marble to ensure perfection. By contrasting unpredictably from the surface, the veins give every dial a character of its own. The indexes are minimally designed to not distract attention from the stone, without compromising the readability. Every dial is crafted only from the finest marble pieces and features a polishing finish to enhance the subtleties of the stone and to achieve high permanence.
Invented in Italy in the late 19th century, the Milanese strap is a distinctive fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modernity. The steel is woven to wrap smoothly around the wrist, creating a comfortable and precise fit. Its subtly lustring surface defies bold yet refined Italian design. Each mesh band is crafted from 316L stainless steel, making it suitable for use in water.
To achieve high accuracy and durability, the timepiece is made and assembled by Swiss watchmakers. The Ronda movement of the watch is protected by a 316L stainless steel case and where the marble face peaks out, the case turns to sapphire crystal to ensure extreme scratch-resistance. On the backside of the case, the heritage of the watch is highlighted to cherish its Italian identity.

Italian marble has enthralled generations as an element of luxury and refinement. Named after the town in Tuscany, the mountains of Carrara is home to the finest pieces of marble, each unique like a fingerprint. With its contrasting surface and colorful past, the stone from Carrara has always stood up against changing fashion – making it timeless.
Carrara marble has been associated with exclusivity nearly since the dawn of modern civilization 2.000 years ago. It became the signature of the Roman Empire, transforming Rome to the architectural icon it is today.
The most prominent use of Carrara marble lies in the artworks of legendary artists like Donatello, Antonio Canova, and above all, Michelangelo. He believed that the masterpiece was already present in the marble and that he had to carve to set it free.
With marble quarries scattered along the landscape and with the Ligurian coastline in the background, the view from the Apuan Alps in Carrara is like nothing else.
